Dlamini Shabangu Attorneys recently concluded a multimillion merger/acquisition transaction between two entities in the built environment sector following a joint merger application and notification for approval by the Eswatini Competition Commission. Following an assessment of the Acquiring and Target firms, including the relevant market as well as the competitive analysis and public interest considerations of the merger/acquisition transaction by the Commission, the trasnaction was approved and published by the Commission in terms of Regulation 31(1) of the Competition Commission Regulation Notice, 2010.
